Synopsis
BOTTLED is a humorous look at the ups and downs of life for three friends whose real-world problems - unemployment, apathy, love, marriage and even death - are only confronted when under pressure.
Mitchell (Brett Robert Culbert), a quiet young-professional, has just finished his annual visit home for the holidays. While bumming a ride to the airport from Derek (Ryan Cooper), the only friend left in their small town, Mitchell learns his flight has been cancelled. Forced with the prospect of spending another day in a town that never seems to change, the pair try to reconnect with old friends.
After hearing tragic news regarding their high school pal Tripp (Tye White), Mitchell and Derek decide to track him down and cheer him up, with the help of a van full of booze. But when things don't go as planned, these three friends will be forced to do the unthinkable - deal with each others' problems.
Also starring Jennica Chavez and Dave Calabro. Directed and Produced by Thadd Williams from an original screenplay by Peter Dorne. Edited and Produced by Michael Sohcot. Photographed by Luke Hanlein.
Sometimes being trapped is the greatest liberation.
